Tanning Tips

 

In order to have the "perfect" tan, you need to make sure to prep your skin well before application. Not doing so may result in dry patches that soak up more solution and appear darker than other areas and may also cause the tan to not last as long.

 

 

1. Exfoliate the entire body well with a sugar or salt scrub that does not have a heavy oil base. Concentrate on the knees, elbows, and any other dry spots. This should be done the night before or the day of.

 

2. Shave the day of or night before. Shaving will exfoliate the skin as well.

 

3. In the days leading up to your tanning session, make sure to heavily 

moisturize the skin. This will help in preventing dry patches as well.

 

4. If you don't want to do your tan in the "nude", our suggestion is to wear dark colored under wear or bathing suit. It will be stained by the tan.

 

5. Wear loose fitting and dark colored clothing. "Flip flops" are preferable as well.

 

6. You should not shower or get the skin wet, including sweating, for at least 6 hours.

 

7.Bring something to tie your hair back and out of the way.

 

8. Come with minimal or no makeup on.

 

9 To help your tan last, moisturize daily and minimize exfoliation.
