What do I need to do to reserve Your Beautiful Face for my event?

We require a $100 deposit and a signed contract and guidelines (click to download).
Once you reserve services on the contract you cannot cancel them for any reason.
If you don't know how many additional people will need services on bridal contract,
you may add them at a later time. The amount of your contract is due in full 30 days before your event.

What makes your company different from other
on location hair and makeup artists/companies,
the salon, and mall makeup counter?

1. At our trial runs, you are allowed extra time to make changes and adjust to give you the perfect look. You can change your hair style up to 3 times!

2. You are able to work with your artist directly after booking with us. We find it is the best way to help us build a relationship with you and to help you feel comfortable and confident!

3. We strongly believe in customer service. We go the extra mile for our customers in making sure that on the wedding day or for a special event, there is no guess work and no stress with
what they will look like when we are done!

4. We specialize in wedding hair and makeup. We know the techniques to help your hair last all day and night, without looking like "crunchy prom hair". We also won't make you look like someone else but rather the best version of you so you will be comfortable and confident in your makeup and your total look.

What is the cost to have you come to me the day of my event?

All prices listed "on location" include a travel fee for the first 20 miles from our studio at 290 and 610 N. Each additional mile is $1.50

How many people can you accomodate?

We can accomodate up to 15 people for hair and makeup services. We recommend at least one assistant for hair and makeup for every 4 people getting full hair and makeup. The first assistant fee is $60 and each assistant after that is $40. We cannot guarantee that a large amount of additional people added to a bridal contract can be accomodated if added less than 3 months in advance during our busiest wedding months.

How long does it take to complete the services?

For the Bride, we allow a min. of an hour and 30 min. for hair and makeup. For additional people receiving hair and makeup services, we allow 40 min. for hair and 30 minutes for makeup. For every 5 people getting hair and makeup services, we add on 20 minutes at the end of the schedule as a "cushion" time in case any last minute unexpected occurances happen. We don't want you to be late or feel rushed!

What is the difference between a Trial Run and a Consultation?

A trial run is when we do your hair and/or makeup just like you will have it done for your wedding day. A lot of brides choose to use this session for their bridal portraits. A trial run appointment typically lasts 2 hours. At a consultation, we will spend about 30 minutes looking thru pictures and discussing ideas on what you would like to do for hair/makeup on your wedding day. The artist will determine if the style is acheivable and will also select the color pallette for your makeup. There is no makeup application or hairstyling done at a consultation.

I'm on a tight budget. What can you do for me?

We have lots of packages for brides on a budget! You can choose to come to us to get hair/makeup done for your event in our private studio. We have plenty of room for you and other bridal party member plus access to a kitchen and large bathroom. If you would like for someone to come to you on your wedding day, choose an associate artist with a consultation package. You will love how you look!

What additional charges are there?

Our additional charges include (but are not limited to) extra $10-15 for extra thick or long hair, $10-15 extra to cover sever skin discoloration/birthmark on the face, 5% fee when paying by credit card, $25 returned check fee, $50 "no show" fee if fail to give 48 hour notice of cancellation of trial runs/consultations, $1 per minute charge if bride/ bridal party is more than 5 minutes late to on-location or in-studio appointments Friday-Sunday.

What should I do to "prep" my skin and/or hair for my bridal portraits/wedding day/special event?

"Dirty" hair does hold a style best, so it is recommended that you wash and dry your hair no sooner than the night before your event. However, if you have especially oily or thin hair, please come with clean and very dry hair. If you have very short hair and want a blow dry instead of a style, please wash your hair and wrap in a towel prior to arriving to your appointment. For a full list of guidelines, please refer to our contract/guidlines page.

Do you have any past clients I can talk to about their experience with
Your Beautiful Face?

We have lots of great reviews listed on www.WeddingWire.com/yourbeautifulfacemakeup. Our past brides have left reviews on their experiences with us on their own. On Weddingwire.com, vendors can't alter or affect the reviews they leave, good or bad! We also have listed some of the reviews on this website under "customer reviews". To protect their privacy and to not inconvenience our newlywed brides, we do not give out their personal contact info.
